The Dialog Editor dialog box enables you to configure the properties of the dialog editor.
Margin size specifies the margin size of the dialog editor. This value is used only when the margin is activated in the dialog box. The default value for this property is 7.
Grid width and height specifies the size of the dialog editor grid. These values are used only when the grid is activated in the dialog editor. The default value for these properties is 5.
Default snap distance specified the snap distance. You must set this value to the distance you want to have between your controls. The default value for this property is 5.
Reduced snap distance specified a secondary snap distance, for controls that must be closer. If you don't need a reduced snap distance, you can use the same value than the default snap distance. The default value for this property is 2.
Default snap distance and Reduced snap distance are used only if the snap mode is activated in the dialog editor.
The Control preferences dialog box enables you to configure the properties of each control that can be created in the dialog editor:
Default width and height specifies the size of the controls when it is created in a dialog box using the simple click.
The default identifier specifies a base for the identifier generated when a control is created, at the end of which an integer is added to obtain a unique identifier.
The default caption specifies the caption after its creation.
